1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("you") and AIForVid Directory ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your access to and use of our website and services.

By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, you must stop using the site immediately.

2. Description of Service

AIForVid Directory is a curated directory of AI video tools, including text-to-video generators, AI avatars, auto-editing tools, and related software. We publish listings for tools submitted by their makers or users.

A listing in our directory is not an endorsement. We do not earn commissions or affiliate fees from the tools we list, and we make no representation about the quality, safety, or suitability of any third-party tool.

3. User Accounts and Registration

You need an account to submit tools and manage your listings. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering, and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

4. Submissions and Listings

Tools may be submitted through the submission page, subject to payment of the listing fee (see Section 5). Submissions are reviewed by our team before they appear on the site.

  • We may reject a submission for any reason, including spam, duplicates, inaccurate information, or content we consider inappropriate.
  • We may remove or delist a tool at any time, with or without notice, if it no longer meets our guidelines.
  • By submitting a tool, you confirm that you are authorized to submit the information, that the information is accurate, and that the tool does not infringe any third-party rights.
  • Accepted listings may be edited or removed by their submitter, but changes are subject to review before going live.

5. Fees and Payments

Some listings require a one-time listing fee, as displayed on the submission page. Payment is processed securely by a third-party Merchant of Record (MoR) provider, and by submitting a payment you agree to that provider's terms.

  • Payment of the listing fee entitles you to one submission for review; it does not guarantee approval or a permanent listing.
  • Listing fees are one-time payments and do not renew automatically.
  • Refunds are granted at our sole discretion. If your submission is rejected, we may offer a refund or credit on request.
  • If we later introduce subscription products, those will be billed on the terms presented at checkout.

6. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree not to use the site:

  • In any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
  • To submit false, misleading, or deceptive information about a tool.
  • To upload or link to malicious content, or to attempt unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or other users' accounts.
  • To scrape, crawl, or otherwise collect data from the site in bulk without our permission.
  • To interfere with or disrupt the operation of the site.

7. AIGC Acceptable Use Policy & Content Standards

AIForVid Directory is dedicated to fostering a safe, legal, and ethical ecosystem for artificial intelligence and generative media. All submitted tools, makers, and platform users must strictly comply with this AIGC Acceptable Use Policy.

7.1 Six Prohibited Content Categories (Strictly Forbidden)

We strictly prohibit the submission, promotion, generation, or indexing of AI tools, services, prompts, or workflows designed for or facilitating any of the following:

  • 1. Pornography, NSFW & Non-Consensual Sexual Content: Explicit pornography, unsolicited sexual imagery, nudity generation, non-consensual sexual depictions ("deepnude"), or adult entertainment exploitation.
  • 2. Violence, Gore & Dangerous Harms: Depictions of severe violence, bloodshed, torture, self-harm, suicide encouragement, terrorism, cyberattacks, or instructions for manufacturing weapons and hazardous materials.
  • 3. Hate Speech, Harassment & Bullying: Content promoting hatred, discrimination, defamation, dehumanization, or incitement to violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
  • 4. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) & Child Exploitation: Any content depicting, generating, facilitating, or promoting child sexual abuse, underage exploitation, or harm. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy; all violations are immediately preserved and referred to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement agencies.
  • 5. Deepfakes, Impersonation & Malicious Misinformation: Non-consensual face-swapping, identity theft, unauthorized voice cloning of real persons, election interference, deceptive political propaganda, financial fraud, and synthetic disinformation designed to mislead the public.
  • 6. Copyright, Trademark & Intellectual Property Infringement: Tools, models, or data scrapers that willfully infringe upon registered trademarks, proprietary artist styles without authorization, patents, trade secrets, or copyrighted media without fair use justification.

7.2 Platform Content Moderation & Enforcement

AIForVid employs a multi-tiered safety review mechanism combining automated keyword/URL security scanning and human editorial review before publishing any listing. We reserve the absolute right to:

  • Immediately delist, ban, and purge any tool found in violation of these standards with zero refund.
  • Permanently blacklist the associated developer domain, account, and IP address.
  • Cooperate fully with legal and regulatory authorities in criminal investigations.

7.3 User Reporting Channel & Takedown Requests

If you discover any listed tool or content violating these terms, or wish to file a DMCA copyright takedown request, please email our moderation team directly at [email protected]. We investigate and resolve all substantiated reports within 24 to 48 hours.

7.4 Third-Party Underlying Models & Platform Neutrality

AIForVid operates exclusively as an index and comparison directory. We do not operate or host proprietary cloud generative models directly on this domain. The third-party tools listed in our catalog are powered by their respective developers utilizing foundational architectures (e.g. Kling AI, Runway Gen-3, Luma Dream Machine, OpenAI Sora, Flux, Google Veo, Seedream, etc.). Users interact with those underlying technologies directly through the respective third-party providers.

8. Third-Party Tools

The directory links to tools and services operated by third parties. We do not operate those tools and are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy or completeness of third-party information, pricing, or feature descriptions.
  • The quality, performance, or availability of third-party tools.
  • Any transactions, contracts, or disputes between you and third-party providers.
  • Changes made by third parties to their pricing, features, or terms.

Any relationship you enter into with a third-party tool is solely between you and that provider.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

The site — including its design, text, graphics, logo, and code — is our property or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute our content without permission.

Information you submit about your tool remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, use, and modify that information for the purpose of operating the directory.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The site and all information on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of listings, any specific results from using listed tools, or the uninterrupted availability of the site.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIForVid Directory shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, your use of any listed third-party tool, or your inability to access the site.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the site at our sole discretion, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the site ceases immediately, and we may remove any listings associated with your account.

You may stop using the site at any time, and you may request account deletion by contacting us.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with an updated "Last updated" date, and becomes effective when published. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
